I have a friend who told me about a meme she read one day that said something like: “I don’t have ducks, and they are not in a row. I have squirrels on cocaine and they’re at a rave!” I felt that, on a spiritual level. My ADHD brain is like many, many, crashed out squirrels living their very best lives at all the raves. They each have backstories, names, outfits, and family drama. Most importantly, they have nothing to do with anything, but are going to keep the party going in my brain - forever.
